103 projects with light-emitting diodes

Electroluminescent semiconductor units are assuming an excellent value in digital international. There are actually many units relating to this relatives. The electroluminescent panels, laser diode, infra pink diode, mild emitting diode (LED) and LED screens are many of the vital participants of this kin. The electroluminescence is a phenomenon taking place while a semiconductor fabric emits gentle lower than the impact of electrical box.

Here the amplifier is powered up but has had its input and output ports interchanged. Again the external attenuator was set to 0dB instead of 30dB, indicating a reverse isolation at 100MHz of about 55dB and a ratio of forward to reverse gain of around 70dB. With its low noise and flat gain versus frequency, an obvious application for the device is as a preamplifier to extend the input range of a spectrum analyser to lower levels. Spectrum analysers are designed to cope linearly with a welter of frequencies at their input, so as to display them all faithfully whilst adding the minimum of additional spurious 'signals' due to intermodulation products.

Although all three amplifiers were clipping, the BP and LP outputs each only show the clipping occurring in that particular stage. This is because the harmonics making up the dent in the input waveform to each integrator are attenuated much more than the fundamental at the output. 2 displayed as a Lissajous figure. (b) The THD meter residual when measuring the distortion of the HP output. 12%. Here, the time base speed has been adjusted to 157 gs per division, corresponding to 90 ~ That the clipping in A x and A 3 occurs in quadrature is clearly evident.

To test low inductance measurements, four turns were wound on a two-hole balun core type FX2754 (which uses 3C85 material). The expected inductance, given the core's A l of around 3 5 0 0 n i l / LCR measuring transformed 47 turn, was 56gH. The measured value, on range 5 of $2, was 52gH with the dissipation or quadrature control R12 set near to zero, indicating a high value of Q. 5gH. 9gH, with R12 set at about 30%, indicating a Q o f about 3. 24gH, but the measured value will of course include the inductor's leads and the bridge's terminals and internal test circuit wiring.
